Summer's Gardens Story
Hi, I'm Summer! The girl behind Summer's Garden. Since I could walk, I loved to walk around the gardens with my mom, picking flowers for my room. The love of flowers from a young age led me to start making bouquets for teachers or family friends. That turned into people asking for flowers and where Summer's Garden was born in 2021. It started by me cutting from my moms perennials, and has grown into us starting nearly 3000 plants from seed to grow, sell and share.

We refer to dahlias as the seasons last hurrah! They grow and grow, and finally August-October they put on their glorious blooms.
Mom says, "They are here for a good time, but not a long time."
Please reach out if you'd like to try and grow dahlia tubers, they can be divas, but we think we've got them figured out and would love to pass on what works for us.
